How does ZipScripts send orders to my pharmacy?

You can choose to receive orders by fax, email or SMS text message. When we onboard your pharmacy, we will ask for your preference and get your contact information.

How do I let my patients know that my pharmacy has an app?

We will send you a promo kit when you sign up for ZipScripts. We include vinyl cling window stickers, one poster and a tent card for your counter.

Does ZipScripts protect my patients' privacy?

Yes. ZipScripts was built to be HIPAA and PIPEDA compliant from the ground up. We use the same encryption technology that banks and ecommerce sites use to protect your patients data.

Does ZipScripts ask the patient to bring their original prescription to the pharmacy?

Yes. ZipScripts reminds the patient that they should present their original prescription to the pharmacist during pickup.

Can a patient request refills with ZipScripts?

Yes. It is easy for a patient to request a refill. In the app, the patient goes into their Order History, they select which prescription they want to refill, then tap Request Refill.

How do I tell the patient their order is ready for pickup?

When you receive the order there will be a link attached. Just click the link or type it into your web browser to open a page where you can send the patient a message. The patient will receive a notification through the app.

Do I need any special software or hardware at my pharmacy?

No. ZipScripts sends you orders through your existing fax machine, email address or SMS text number.

Does ZipScripts ask the patient to bring their original prescription to the pharmacy?

Yes. ZipScripts reminds the patient that they should present their original prescription to the pharmacist during pickup.

Does ZipScripts integrate with my Pharmacy Management System?

No. At this time ZipScripts does not move data directly into any PMS software.

Does ZipScripts cost the patient anything?

No. ZipScripts is free for the patient.

How much does ZipScripts cost?

ZipScripts is available on a montly subscription basis. There are no start-up fees or contracts. All plans come with a 30 day trial. Please see our pricing page for more details.

How do I sign up?

Just go to our pricing page to select the right plan for your Pharmacy. After registering, we will contact you by email or phone to learn about your pharmacy and get you set up in our system. Most clients are up and running in less than one business day.
